Key2 Realty Top Choice for University
The University of Newcastle have named Key2 Realty as their preferred real estate agent to actively source long-term residential rental property options for their students on the Central Coast.
Key2 Realty is a social enterprise that specialises in managing residential investment properties across the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie regions.
Key2 Realty’s Business Manager Ashleigh Williams said that finding rentals in the current market can be challenging, however Key2 Realty have been forming partnerships with property owners and developers, and are in a position to offer a range of tenanting options to their clients.
“Key2 Realty is extremely proud to be the University of Newcastle’s preferred real estate agency to pursue rental properties for students on the Central Coast”.
“As a social enterprise, we offer property management services to any residential landlord, and our profits are directed to community support programs for those living in disadvantage, such as education scholarships, learner driver courses and a sports program that encourages young people to participate in sport”.
“It’s fantastic that the University of Newcastle is supportive of our profit-for-purpose philosophy,” Ashleigh Williams said.
The University of Newcastle’s Executive Dean Central Coast, Professor Mike Bowyer said that whilst the partnership will assist students at the Ourimbah Campus, the University will be seeking student rental options for the growing Campuses in the heart of Gosford, including the student medical campus and the CBD campus when it is completed.
“The need for affordable housing on the Central Coast is crucial, this includes student housing, and we look forward to working with Key2 Realty who will seek out residential rental properties for students on our behalf.”
“Working with an agency such as Key2 Realty, with an in-depth knowledge of the local area, combined with unique expertise in affordable housing, will ensure we are notified of suitable accommodation as soon as it becomes available,” Professor Mike Bowyer said.
